More of the Windy City

The next morning in Chicago, we woke up to a little bit clearer skies. Which just means that it wasn't pouring. I had been flexible in my planning, however, and we could either stay the entire day exploring or head out of the city to continue our adventure in a small beach town in Michigan about an hour away. We hit the hotel pool one more time before checking out. The kids seriously would be happy just hanging out in any hotel with a pool and a DVD player at night!!

With my kids in mind, I figured we better stick to mostly outdoor stuff, so we headed to Millenium Park and Cloudgate, specifically. A beautiful park filled with flowers and a fountain and some interesting sculptures. I think newly built in the last 5 years. We called the Cloudgate sculpture the "metal bean" and the kids got a big kick out of it. Here are some neat pictures, too.
