November 10 on the 10th

The idea is to take ten photos on the tenth of the month and share it, documenting a day of your life and the ordinary moments. There is beauty in the ordinary.

I actually forgot that it was November 10th until half way through the day!! I think it was because it was Monday, and that we had Tuesday off... Not sure, but my pictures start after I picked up Max from school...

Unlike Zoey, who gets started on her homework as soon as she can... Max likes to just veg when he gets home for a bit... his own mini-mancave thing or something...



It was 60 degrees when I walked Leo first thing in the morning. and then the wind came... and I think it dropped something like 30 degrees in one hour! started to snow too...


And well, what part of an ordinary day doesn't involve laundry, right? I could do an all black load almost every other day.



I worked some on blog catching up as you may have noticed... this is my workspace here...


I told Max we could have hot chocolate as soon as Zoey got home from school...

and just like a little kid, sometimes things get quiet with Ross... I had to go upstairs and check out what he was up to. this is what I found...


He was about to leave for a hunting trim, so there is an explanation, at least.

Almost dinner time... roast chicken, which never turns out as good as I want...


Zoey's soccer practice was cancelled... She used the opportunity to give her ball some sharpie love.

Happy November... lets give thanks

Halloween!

Max's school celebrates Halloween in grand style... They parade up and down Main Street where all of the shops pass out candy and then have big party!

Here is the principal, a panther, leading the parade!

Zoey before school as the Queen of Hearts. Her friend was the Mad Hatter and they won the contest for best duo! She wore a red wig later.

Pumpkin Carving

Last year, we got our pumpkins so late in the season, we didn't even carve them for Halloween. I didn't want to miss out again this year...



this is the mostly green pumpkin Ross is holding in some pictures previously. It orange-d up quite a bit.

Soccer Tournament

Max had an end of season tournament. They made it to the championship game and lost 1-0... But it was a good game and season...

When I said I couldn't take pictures of Zoey's games, well, this one was even harder... Max was far away in the game... So, most of my pictures are of the spectators...

Zoey Futball

I am not good at taking photos during Zoey's soccer games. One, the field is so big, sometimes she is too far away. Two, I just get too caught up in the game.
