Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Max Ehrmann

May 11th - Rainy Day Fun
We woke up to pouring rain this morning, and thankfully, Max and I didn't have to get out into it until much later. We stayed inside, cozy and warm and hung out in our pj's for a while. Max is our resident engineer. He loves building things and even keeps instruction manuals for things he has helped Ross put together in the past. So when he spotted this game on the shelf of Target recently... he just had to have it. He has a reward chart for various things, so as soon as he got all of his stickers, he knew exactly what he wanted for his reward. And it has not disappointed. We aren't even playing the game correctly, he just sets it up and makes up his own game...

That picture is so neat in black and white. I love how Max is in focus but yet you can see the background. As a mom I love watching my kids just play like this.
We you guys stationed at Beale AFB before? I am so excited I almost forget I get to go to Korea first.
is that mousetrap? i loved that game as a kid. man, you always beat me to the day's post.... ;-)
Jeni- We were at Travis AFB when I was a kid, but same basic area. And then I have been around/lived near Vandenberg, Edwards and Los Angeles AFB... so yeah, I have a special fondness for Cali... I know you will love it with your adventurous family...
Tricia- it is mousetrap. Ross said the same, that he loved it as a kid! I hadn't ever played, but boy am I playing now! hahaha!!
