Ten on the Tenth - Grumpy Thursday

Ross and I have named Thursday's of a full five day school week as "Grumpy Thursday". We noticed the kids would be extra tired and grumpy on that afternoon and it was our way to kind of make light of the situation. Sometimes just being aware helps with me to deal.

So, dark, cold, and Thursday, we headed out the door this morning! Go Team!


I even woke up with a cloud today. I forced myself to Yoga it up...


And then I worked a little more on cleaning, decluttering... always fun.



I always thought we didn't have too much stuff. But, we have too much stuff.

I helped in Zoey's class today. I get to work with 6 kids on math, so that is fun. So, I was in the school early for pick up and Max was in the gym for PE!


Sometimes to combat Grumpy Thursdays, we head to Panera Bread after
school.



I can't believe how crowded it is at 2:30 on a Thursday.

Zoey is the mail checker-


Max had a long, tough time with homework today... Where Zoey, at his age, was diligent and would just do her work even if she didn't like it, Max fights it. Always asking why, if he knows it already, does he have to keep showing it... This is a battle we will be fighting for a while, I'm afraid.



After dinner dishes.


More Max homework. He had to read a play, so we all had parts.



And down to the basement where they were making up routines on an obstacle course.



and no Ross pictures this Tenth. He is away making the day extra grumpy...
Ending my whine... I mostly kid about the grumps, I just wanted to document it because often Ross calls and asks how its going and we can just say, "Grumpy Thursday" with no explanation needed. I wish you a good one. And if not, tomorrow is another day. Be Blessed.
