Zoey scored a goal in both of her first two games and is playing great! She seems to understand the whole concept of the game and the positions this time, so that really helps! Her frustration level is much less and I think she is beginning to enjoy it. Ross and I are too! Max plays a funny sort of grid soccer game, which keeps the kids from bunching up, but is sometimes a little s-l-o-w! At least our weather has been beautiful, so we just get to enjoy being outside as well as getting a little exercise. He's glad to be playing too, after sitting on the sidelines all last year. (or maybe he just likes having a shirt with his name and a number on it... simple things, ya know?) Either way, it is fun for all.
Ross made a sign for Zoey when she scored her very first goal last season, so she has hinted each time that he needs to keep doing it. Here she is in front of her door with her signs... Oh, and her skirt is my latest sewing project... another Jeni inspiration!

it must be fun to watch zoey play some real soccer these past few seasons. i can't seem to get my kids interested in soccer anymore. oh well, they could always pick it up in high school like i did.
you've got me inspired to start sewing. you didn't take lessons? i've been considering taking a class for the past few years, but it never works out for school hours. where'd you find a deal on a sewing machine?
Hey Tricia,
Zoey is interested, but Max is a little different. It is fun!
I got the sewing machine from Costco online. it was their hotbuy one. I haven't taken lessons yet or bought a pattern, but most things I have tried are really basic.
Zoey is doing great! We want to come and watch one of her games at some point. I love the skirt. It turned out very cute!
Aww...what a cute pic with the fun colorful balls.
You are on fire aren't you...Zoey looks super cute in that skirt and I bet she thinks you are the coolest.
