Arizona Christmas 2010... Part 1

As soon as December hit in Ohio, the temperatures took a nose dive and stayed. It made our upcoming holiday to Phoenix look even better than it already did. We were going to be there a week, and my sister and her kids would be there, too. It had been a long time since we had all been together in one spot, so we were excited.

We left in the evening which actually made for a really relaxing day getting ready and driving to the airport.

Here the kids are with their reading material in the airport...

And the ever vigilant Ross... hey, is that an unattended bag over there? Just kidding, I just couldn't resist.

And vacation is so nice... There's sleeping...

We did some serious finger-knitting...

(that's my neice Rachel with Zoey in the picture. She's wearing the scarf Zoey made for her. And was so sweet, she even wore it to church on Christmas Eve. That sure made Zoey feel special!)

And Some game playing!! (this is pre-presents)

One night before my sister and fam came, we headed to the Luminare... which is where the Phoenix botanical gardens are all lit up and there is music and food. It was really beautiful...
A cool glass sculpture of a cactus.
