San Diego...

So this set of posts coming up, will be picture HEAVY, and they are the reason why, in September, I am still blogging about JUNE! I just loved every picture. And I want to post tons of them, because seriously, every single one makes me smile!!

here we are driving out of LA and heading south towards San Diego. California freeways are so crazy. It doesn't matter how many times I've been on them, I will always be a little amazed!




We stayed at the Navy Lodge, on Coronado Island. It was really beautiful and even better than I had remembered. Not only was it on the beach, pretty much private to the hotel guests and base people, but it had a pool too! We arrived too early for check-in, but the kids were ready to play right away! They half-changed in the car, and ran to the ocean!!



I always think, here I am, at the end of the US!

there is the Hotel del Coronado off into the distance.... I will have up close pictures later. Besides the seaweed everywhere, it was really lovely.




the water was really cold, but it didn't stop them. Later in the evening we came back and they got completely wet!













Ross at some point left for a while to check in and the kids just ran from the waves and played in the sand!





I just love all of their facial expressions!
