Max's Birthday

One thing that I really think is important is to celebrate birthdays. I don't mean crazy party celebrate, but just make the person feel extra special that day. Unfortunately, Max's birthday sometimes comes at a stinky time. Last year we were in the middle of traveling (to Disneyland, though, so that made it somewhat okay) and this year we were moving. So, I don't think the kid has had a birthday party in forever! mom guilt... But, still we try to make him feel the love all day. Zoey is good with it too. Days leading up to his birthday, we traveled around Denver to visit any and all unique toy stores. Based on what he was interested in, we picked up fun presents while he wasn't looking! Anyway, we made the best of the day, a day filled with "Max Likes"

Zoey wrapped up the presents early on, so he was eagerly waiting and waiting to open them. We said he could open them after breakfast...

We were in Denver with Grandma Bette and Grandpa Bob for his actually birthday. He wanted to go to Dave and Busters for dinner and games later that evening and everyone had a good time. He also got presents and fun when we went to my parents house in Arizona and also Las Vegas, so no big party, but lots of family love.:)
