All of Max's games were on a Friday night. Except for the first one, the weather was really bad for his games... freezing cold, rain, snow... (remember Grandma and Papa?)
So, I didn't get any pictures until this night. It was cold, but skies were clear!

Unfortunately, Zoey and Ross couldn't make it to the game and met us later for dinner. Max is not overly aggressive while playing soccer (unless it is against Zoey), so he just kind of runs along and happily plays. BUT, this was his best game of the season and he did really well, and I was the only one who got to see it! Oh well!

I love his tongue sticking out!

He had so many touches on the ball this game, it was great!

The sky was so pretty too as the sun set, so I was documenting it along with the game.

This series is kind of funny... (the kid wasn't hurt) and look at the ref's face!

Doing a good boxing out move here!
Someone brought hot chocolate for them at half time!

Check out my cool shoes...

Second Half under the lights!

I hadn't photographed sports under these conditions before so it was interesting, and a challenge!

Another kid falls at Max's feet!

And then starts kicking Max to get the ball... the old soccer player in me wants to yell, "Playing on the Ground, Ref!" but I didn't:)

After the game, we met up with Ross and Zoey for dinner and then back home. It is a crazy day for the kiddos, who are basically away from the house from 7:30 am until 9pm!
Max unwinds at home... looking at a brain teaser book, of course!
