The weather at home was threatening rain and wind, so we bundled up... you can see it was pretty cloudy at the park.
Our seats were in the sun, though, so for most of the game, we actually were really hot!

Zoey had just read her biography, so it was neat to see her up close.
She was impressive, but I was amazed by the trainer guy kicking the balls to her. He shot rockets right to her in all different parts of the goal.
And then, the rest of the team showed up. I don't even have a crazy lens on my camera. We were just that close. (Row 2) Abby Wambach in the house...
and Megan Rapinoe... we have seen these ladies play on TV, so this was a fun experience for both Zoey and me.

Goalie talking with her defense. I took this shot for Zoey. They played a 4 man defense just like her team does and I thought this was a neat moment to watch them.
They played against China. Lots of the Chinese players had man hair cuts. And the goalie was the tallest Asian female I have seen!

A direct kick here with a wall. The US one, but not on a goal here.
Hope didn't have one save in the game. She didn't play the second half, so she basically took a goal kick!

But China's #30 saved the day. No goal here. Man, Zoey does that sometimes and it is pretty amazing, I think:)
Megan Rapinoe again. She scored a goal on a free kick, but not here.
And Zoey at the game! It snowed as we were leaving.
