Tuesday Ross had surgery on his elbow... I will post some before and after pictures soon! We had to get up at 5 am and drive him to UCLA. Poor Zoey got carsick on the way home and threw up twice. We got home and cleaned her up and waited to go back and pick up Ross. LA traffic is pretty crazy any time of the day, but especially on the 405 freeway that is under construction. So the kids and I were back in the car for another two hours to go and get Ross and bring him back home. As Ross slept through the afternoon, poor Max was getting sick. We didn't really know until we decided to get some dinner and he threw up all over himself!! And then the fever came. Anyway, to make a long story short, the next day we took him to the ER after another scary vomit and found out the poor guy had pneumonia and both ears infected. On a lighter note, at the ER they gave him some Tylenol with Codeine because he was in so much pain. As soon as that got into his system, he was another kid... he went from crying to singing like an old drunk guy!! He was just chatting and singing away and as we were leaving he was saying, "Goodbye everyone, Goodbye Max, Goodbye!" It was very cute and a little stress relieving considering our morning.
As Max slowly improved, our week continued and Zoey then started getting a fever. It was Friday and I didn't want to head into the weekend with her getting sick so we took her to the doctor... she had infected tonsils!! So after many sick days and up all night with several vomitting episodes... I hope we are on our way to recovery!! Last night was our first full nights sleep for everyone. So, that is why I haven't been blogging! It is times like these that we sure miss being around our family for just some extra support. We love and miss you.

Wow, that seems like one crazy week! I hope everyone is feeling better now. How are you guys doing?? I'd better get going but i'll talk to you guys later.
