Zoey insights

Zoey and I were talking about people's ages the other day. She was asking about how old Max is and how old he was when we lived in Massachusetts. She always wants to know when her "five birthday" is coming because she knows that is when she gets to go to kindergarten and the school is right next to our house. She gets a little confused in talking and instead of saying, "when I will be 6..." she says "when I used to be 6" so I sometimes correct her and try to explain the mistake. Well after talking the other day she stopped all of a sudden with great excitement at her epiphany and said, "Mommy, there are still so many numbers that I haven't been yet!" I love her excitement about it. The months can't pass fast enough until the next big holiday or event. I am afraid after the long string from Christmas, Valentine's Day, even St Patrick's Day and Easter, she is going to be disappointed with what comes next! Cinco de Mayo anyone?? Some how fajitas and margaritas while wearing a sombrero don't go over too well with a four year old!! We'll still make it a fiesta!
