It's April, is all I can say.
2. I recently read Ann Voskamp's book, One Thousand Gifts. I am not going to review it here. I will say that I didn't LOVE it like everyone seems to, but with most non-fiction books, I usually can take something away from it and apply it to my life for the positive. In this case, I have been looking out for those gifts God is giving me daily. It is more than just being thankful for your blessings, it is seeing gifts from God in all things, good and bad. Sometimes they are obvious... right after I finished the book, I sat downstairs where we keep the humidifier on a metal tray and saw this...Thank you, Lord for the smile today.

3. So the Lady Aggies of Texas A&M (Whoop!) are heading into the NCAA Championship Bball game right about now! First time in history! Pretty cool that they have gotten this far. A victory for history would be awesome!!
4. I just put down double soccer schedules on the calendar for April and May... add a little Taekwondo in the mix and Ross travelling and we are a little on the busy side! I usually don't like it quite like that, but I love soccer and being outside and watching the kids, so actually it is relaxing and I am looking forward to it. Plus, the busyness brings summer that much closer.
5. And I LOVE SUMMER:)
6. What I don't love so much? Time flying by with the kiddos. I cannot believe the end of the school year is just around the corner. Max will be in first grade and Zoey in fourth next year! whoa, can't catch my breath!
7. Ross has come home from work a couple of times with news of us moving at different times (mostly false alarms). It is always weird to think how non-rooted our lives are. It's interesting, too, to go through all of the emotions it involves.
8. I can't wait for more signs of spring and flowers for picture taking!
9. The other day I was driving out of the neighborhood past the house that is by the pond, and walking along the sidewalk was a duck! Not too unusual around here, but it was funny to see him on the sidewalk like he was just going for a walk. I had to laugh when I realized that that isn't something we would ever see in our old neighborhood in Cali.
10. I read this quote from Isak Dinesen, the other day that just resonates with me..."The cure for anything is salt water-- sweat, tears, or the sea."
The sweat and tears I can get no problem... but I do miss the sea.
At least I have pictures...
