First Day of School!!

While still in our apartment in Boulder, the kids had to start school in the town we would be living in. So, we had to commute a tiny bit for about 3 weeks.

Max started 3rd Grade!! Here he is on the first day:



He has a super nice teacher, but the school is definitely not used to transient kids, so being new is a little hard!

Zoey started on this day too, but it was a fun, get to know the school day for sixth graders, so she was just in athletic clothes and no back pack...

Here she is the next day, her first official day of MIDDLE SCHOOL! yikes.



Changing classes, and lockers, oh my! It was so hard for me to drop her off that day, knowing she didn't know anyone and that most people would already have friends, but she is a tough girl, and is doing well.

Max on his second day with his Angry Birds backpack and Minion shirt... It all gives him smiles throughout the day!
