And Ross and Zoey headed off to Columbus for a fun tournament. Max and I met up with them later. We were spending the night there and making a weekend out of it. I think the kids were equally excited about swimming in the hotel pool as they were about the soccer.
I showed up near the end of her first game. Taking a corner kick!

Hooray!

We left the fields for a while for lunch and to relax a little bit and hit this place...

If you are even in Columbus, Ohio, or I think Nashville, too, go get some Jeni's ice cream. Try all the crazy, delicious flavors. The salted caramel is the best!

This shop is located in a cute part of Dublin, OH.

And back to more soccer...

I have found that I just can't photograph a game that I like and that my kids are participating in. Plus, we are really limited on where we can stand around the field, so I eventually just gave up and watched the game.
The next morning we were up early and at it again... Hair pulled up and ready.

Soccer in Ohio is so funny, location wise. I turned in one direction to face the soccer fields and turned in another direction, surrounded by this:

And this is what I mean about not being able to move around for shots... We have one half of one sideline we can be on. No where near the other side or the goal lines, so I get this shot...

You can even see the line that the parents aren't allowed to cross!! Funny... Here is a goal by her teammate:

They did well, but didn't win overall. It was fun though.
