SO...The idea is to take ten photos on the tenth of the month and share it, documenting a day of your life and the ordinary moments. There is beauty in the ordinary. Let's do this!
When I point my camera at my kids, they both put on their cheesy smiles and face towards the camera and neither of them look at the camera! I don't get it. They (well, just Zoey the attorney) even argue with me that they are looking at the camera. And then I show her the picture that proves she isn't, and she says that I didn't take it at the right time! Anyway, off to school... Good morning!

My morning was a big bunch of off-timing on my part. I had my plan in my head, to start with a little run and go from there. I sent the kids off to school, did a few things in the kitchen and then looked out- it was raining!

I normally don't mind running in the rain, but I have been freezing lately, so I just couldn't motivate myself, and I knew the rain would end quickly. So I decided to change my plans and run later, doing errands first. Let me bore you with my story. I got gas and drove down to the Greene (shopping center). I needed to go to three stores. I thought the gas and drive would take longer but I still overestimate how long it takes me to get places in our town. Anyway, at 9:15, I arrive at Old Navy, thinking it opens at 9. Nope. 9:30! What store opens at 9:30, by the way? It's better than 10 at this point. It was so chilly, I didn't want to wait in the car and had to use the restroom, so I went to a coffee shop.

At 9:30, I headed back and looked around with no success, bummer! And then decided to hit up the other two stores. I realized at this point that they don't open until 10! It was 9:45. So I had another 15 minutes to waste. All this to say, I guess I am blessed to have 30 minutes of time to waste due to my poor planning! I just had an off-timing day.
I had to hit the post office too to mail some packages (woohoo, New Mexico family, that's for you!!). And mail some letters...

I did get my run in, which was blah, too, but oh well. And then off to school for pick up! I love the school buses and fall trees...

Homework time!

Zoey had a soccer game, so I was getting things ready. This is her water bottle filling up. She so aptly named it, "THE GLUGGER!" Or, if you are from her birth state of Massachusetts, "The Gluggah!"

Getting ready for the last league game of the season, just a tournament left.

And this one at the fields is funny. Zoey is in the background warming up and Max is sharing with us a big leaf he found!

We usually head to Chick Fil-A on Wednesdays...

and this was above our seats, I took a picture because "therefore" is one of Max's spelling words this week!

the entire quote says, "Food is essential to life, therefore, make it good." word.
Have a good one, friends, go rock the rest of October.
