Holy Macro!

So as a belated birthday, Christmas and surviving deployment present... I got a new lens!! It is a macro lens, so I was having fun taking close ups of small things the other day. Ross hooked me up with some old micro machine cars of his and then dug out some of Max's little lego guys.

Here I made a crash!

I was thinking of doing some of the lego shots as blown up pictures in Max's room...

The beards and facials on the lego guys make me laugh.

And then Zoey wanted to try it. Her scenes she set up made me laugh too. She spent hours doing this... She actually got our other camera out and did tons more that were so funny...

I love these guys having a stare down after their accident...

Oh Fun! I so so want a macro lens and have been spying the 100mm 2.8L for a long while - I hope to have one next month. Which one did you get- do you enjoy using it for nature AND people?

That is the lens I got! I love it for people, bokeh is beautiful! I haven't had too much time with nature as I had to wait for things to bloom!
