Pictureless Funnies

The other day we went to a restaurant for dinner. Before we go out to eat, we tell the kids where we are going and if it is somewhere we have been before, then Max already knows what he is having. He sort of has a set thing to eat at whatever place we go to. So, we sit down in the booth, and the waiter comes up to our table to greet us and asks how we are doing and Max says, "I'm good, and I'll have my usual!"

We didn't know the waiter, so this didn't work so well, but it was funny! It would be awesome if we could do that somewhere and they totally knew what he meant.

And, I realize that I always talk about Max's funny comments and how he cracks us up all the time, but Zoey is clever and funny, in a different way. Her humor is different and not so slapstick, so it is harder to write about, but she cracks us up too!

I am disappointed that I didn't get pictures of this, because Ross's face and laughter were awesome, but I will try and capture it with words...

Max has days of the week underwear that he loves. Grandma got him some last year and they were a big hit. When she saw another set with DOGS on them, I told her he would love to have them and he does! Zoey then found a set of days of the week underwear and got them as well. Ross, kind of joking, casually said, "Man, I want some of those!" So, Zoey stored that info in her brain and decided to make Ross some days of the week underwear for his birthday!

We only got him a four pack (Zoey came up with 4 slogans) and then some fabric markers and she got busy decorating the back side...

Thursday: Your Butt will be Grumpy
- because we always say the kids are grumpy from the long week on Thursdays!

Friday: Your Butt will Party!
- I am so ghetto, but I totally sing that song on Fridays, "just got paid, Friday night, Party huntin', ..." And she remembers that kind of stuff!

Saturday: Your Butt will Sleep IN!
- every Friday night we tell the kids to sleep in on Saturday... (they never do)

Sunday: Your Butt will Rest
-it is the day of rest, after all...

I have to add that she drew pictures of little behinds with grumpy faces or party hats as well...

Creative and Funny present, Zoey... good job:)
